Testimonials.

"I do wish I had seen you much earlier when I first started having problems in week 6. I could have established a much better latch and I think then all the additional pumping would have help build my supply up and made life a lot easier later on. Having you observe a feed helped my confidence too and advice on pumping as again, I wanted the re-assurance I was doing it right. I also had a big hang up on the fact I never leaked and you said you never leaked with all 3 of yours so that put my hang up to rest too."

"Your visit was certainly helpful. It was so good to have someone to talk to for an hour or too who was interested in my problem, who listened, empathised and provided tips and solutions for my problems. Having my husband included in the session also helped as it was effecting him as much as Ben and I. The biggest help was hearing you say he probably only took between 60-90 mls of milk at any one feed as in my head I had been thinking he needed 120-150mls per feed and could only express max 70mls. This made me feel more confident that he was getting enough. The lactation aid helped for a short while but became too much of a faff to use every time. I found once I started the Domperiodone, Ben was stating at the breast a bit longer anyway and I didn't need the aid anymore, confirming to me it has been a milk supply issue which you also stated."

"The bottom line is I was at rock bottom emotionally and physically and so desperately wanted to be able breast feed Ben. To have given up at 3 months would have been devastating to my self confidence and I would have felt like I'd have failed Ben. Your visit gave me re-assurance, confidence and hope that I could continue and I have. We are almost at 5 months now and my goal of 6 months is now very do-able. I'd love to be able to carry on a bit longer and who knows, I might just be able to."
